Firday 17th April - Record Store Day Sub Hub Vinyl Fare

Offbeat Glasgow presents JUJU & JORDASH Live @ La Cheetah Club
17th April 11-3am

Juju & Jordash found one another through weekly be-bop jams back in the mid 90s, with Juju on guitar and Jordash on piano. Throughout the 1990s, each played in and composed for various jazz and experimental combos by day and, by cover of night, danced in clubs and experimented with synthesizers, drum machines and dance music.
Now they have released numerous EPs, LPs and remixes since 2004 on record labels such as Dekmantel and Golf Channel, and on Workshop and Off Minor Recordings as Magic Mountain High, together with David Moufang (aka Move D), as well as several ambient, film soundtracks and multimedia projects.
The fully improvised hardware Live shows have been highly regarded in the past few years for their musicality and versatility.

No advance tickets, all tickets available on the door at £8

In food this week I decided to feature a neat little joint called Deniston BBQ, it's located just outside the city centre in the east but it's absolutely worth the travel. It's on the busy Duke street in Deniston, the decor of the restaurant looks like it's undone, but do not be put off by the look! Burgers are reasonably priced and worth every penny!
