Thursday 2nd April - Counterflow Festival and Inflatable Fun!

Counterflows Festival @ various venues
2nd - 5th April

Counterflows is a contemporary music festival produced by AC Projects and OtoProjects. It has been devised as a collaboration between two organisations committed to promoting challenging and thought provoking work in the context of what might be called the experimental music scene, looking at marginal music practice within an extensive list of music genres: Free Jazz, electronica, psychedelic pop, drone, industrial, installation, anochristic-fieldrecordings, song, non-systematic classical, folk.

Pressure and Electric Frog have teamed up again to create another mini festival this time hosted at SWG3 in Patrick taking place on the Firday, Saturday and Sunday of the easter weekend. On Sunday we bring back tbe legendary Josh Wink, who was a favourite at the previous Riverside festival. Along side him will be Vitalic, Slam, and Kr1z. While the Poetry club next door hands it's key to the i AM boys for an i AM takeover.
Tickers are available at Resisdent Advisor and are priced at roughly £15 per night.

Glasgow Zine Fest 2K15 @ The Old Hairdresser
4th April 12 - 5pm

Glasgow Zine Fest returns for another year after a successful one last year. Underground for the underdog. Zines, books, food, tunes, art, DIY DIY DIY. Spread across Old Hairdressers AND Stereo this year, we're looking at double the fun.
Zine fair from 12:00-6:30pm
Afters:
Live music from Blochestra from 6:00 (OHD)
Spinning Coin and Antique Pony from 8-10:00 (Stereo)
Multi-disciplinary art show from 9-12:00 (OHD)
Free all day!

In food this week I decided to feature a neat little joint called Deniston BBQ, it's located just outside the city centre in the east but it's absolutely worth the travel. It's on the busy Duke street in Deniston, the decor of the restaurant looks like it's undone, but do not be put off by the look! Burgers are reasonably priced and worth every penny!
